True North Trucking Co. is a FedEx Ground Linehaul Contract Service Provider – CSP operating out of Troutdale, Oregon. TNT plays an important role in FedEx Ground’s delivery system. As a FedEx Ground CSP, True North Trucking Co. transports FedEx Ground packages to FedEx terminals across the USA. TNT takes pride in providing safe, on-time and reliable service to FedEx and its customers.

TNT runs solo and team routes all over the USA on a daily and weekly basis.  We operate a fleet of Volvo VNL 780 tractors.

Drivers are TNT’s most important asset. TNT treats drivers with respect, pays them competitively and provides top of the line tractors to do the job.

Doug Woodcock

Owner & President

Doug Woodcock retired from a 35-year career in finance in 2016 and quickly realized that retirement was not for him. He acquired the True North Trucking Co. fleet and routes in 2017 and is using his business background and experience in finance to build a financially strong and growing trucking company. Doug understands that a good business requires capital and a sound business plan but success is all about finding good people and giving them the right equipment to do a good job.

Steve Rautio

General Manager

Steve Rautio has 15 years of experience as a FedEx Contract Service Provider. He understands and loves the business. Steve is a hands-on manager who is not afraid to get behind the wheel if he is needed. Steve is responsible for managing the fleet and the drivers on a day to day basis. His combination of trucking experience and many years as a Contract Service Provider make Steve a great manager who the drivers can respect and FedEx sees as a valuable partner.

Paul Carson

Owner

Paul is VP of True North Trucking. He is also CEO of Carson International, Inc., CII, a sports event, television production and distribution company.

Paul also worked in the financial business for 13 years as Senior VP Sales first with Dean Witter and later with UBS Paine Webber before starting his own Hedge Fund.

When Paul was invited to get involved with True North Trucking Co. he was excited to join the team and help build this new company with Doug Woodcock, President and CEO .
